His mother tolf him the story of The Shadow, a cursed ship filled with gold which got him very interested in finding the ship. Once he reached his twenties his father died at sea, he wanted to avenge his father by becoming a pirate captain himself and sail on his father's ship. He gathered a small but fun crew and sailed at sea in his father's ship for eight years. As he was sailing across the water one day he encountered a pitch black ship with no crew, deciding to check it out he boarded the ship, remembering the tale his mother used to tell him. The closer they got the wilder the sea got and it started storming. Once on The Shadow, the ship seemed to come alive and the ocean went dead silent. The ship's rigging seemed to control itself as it wrapped itself around Jorge's crew, hanging and killing them all withing moments. He was kept alive and a sudden flash of lightning suddenly took all sight from him, The Shadow's curse having fully blinded Jorge, cursing him as the Captain. He stayed stuck on The Shadow for years, forced being the Captain and not being able to stop The Shadow from killing anyone that dares board the ship. The Shadow=A cursed ship that controls itself as if it has a life of it's own, a storm always surrounding the ship. The ship is known to have a lot of gold inside of it and kill anyone who comes on board. The ship decided to take Jorge as it's Captain, trapping him on the ship forever with no crew and blinding him.
