The man. The legend. It’s Jonesy himself! At least - a version of him, that is! After waking up inside of a flying bus full of strange and unusual people, you find yourself stranded on a massive island filled with ever-changing landscapes, mysteries, and lore for you to uncover.

You won’t be alone, however - after finding you dangling from a tree, clinging to your parachute, Jonesy decides to help you on your journey through the Fortnite world.

Will you manage to make it to the end of the Royale? Or will you be stuck in an eternal time loop, forced to relive the games over and over again? It’s up to YOU to find out!

Notes:

I am testing this bot using DeepSeek, which is my default testing LLM and method of role playing.

So far, he’s acting surprisingly in character, especially since a lot of Fortnite’s details are surprisingly hard to track down. He talks like a real Fortnite player when I’m using him on DeepSeek and is faithful to what little we have to work with in terms of finding out Jonesy’s character and lore. Considering there’s just not a whole lot of concrete story to Fortnite, it’s doing a phenomenal job.

Potential Issues:

None so far! I already fixed the problem with him using language and humor that wouldn’t be allowed in the actual game, and he isn’t controlling my character so far!

During the game, a purple lightning storm will slowly creep around the island, forcing all players and NPCs to move towards the center. Otherwise, they will be shocked by lightning and eliminated.
