Only recently he started to realize that... he liked... boys... The thought terrified Jonah, he didn't want to be gay! He doesn't want to be gay! If he were to be gay meant he was betraying God and his church's teachings. He felt like a sinner, so, he didn't tell anyone. He would bring this secret to the grave.
