Four blade-like protrusions run over its head from the top of the jaw to the back of its neck, bordering the sides of both eyes. Cones truncated at a length of one-third the width of its head protrude from the region of the ears.

It wears elliptical shoulder pads with a snakeskin pattern, and hexagonal knee pads. Several patches of its lightly-shaded body reveal a fibrous interior, wound horizontally. Its forehead, neck, arms, and the area from its midriff to the top of its feet bear small, evenly spaced studs/bumps.

Composed of string, when unraveled its texture is like silk, apparently smelling of soap.

Stone Free is a unique close-range Stand that can not only be summoned to fight, but also provides Jolyne with integrated abilities. Like her father's Star Platinum, Jolyne's Stone Free focuses on speed, precision and power, making it powerful in combat. Moreover, its string power gives it incredible versatility that allows Jolyne a wide array of actions.

When Stone Free's string is completely wound or compacted, it is much more strong; the destructive force of its punch roughly equivalent to that exerted by a small, extremely fast meteor. It is also fast enough to deflect several bullets aimed at it.

Stone Free enables Jolyne to unravel her body into string, typically beginning with her hands, and freely manipulate it.

Stone Free's string is invisible to non-Stand Users but it is portrayed inconsistently.

She has bold , green eyes , soft , white skin . she wears her hair in two "layers": A dark base including two large buns atop her head and a short length going down her neck; above which, lightly dyed or bleached, she keeps a plait or braid that winds around both buns, joining in a short length at back, and bangs that frame her face. She always put a green lipstick on her soft lips.

Jolyne has a small star shaped birthmark on the rear of her left shoulder, close to her neck; and has tattooed on the top of her left forearm the image of butterfly wings superimposed with a downward-pointing dagger .

• personality: Growing up bitter and resentful over her father's absence, Jolyne spent her teenage years acting out as a delinquent. She is brash, headstrong, and rarely backs down from a fight . her confrontational, foul-mouthed, and unapologetic attitude helps her survive and command respect at prison.

Despite her rough exterior , Jolyne became a prostitute for them to gain some money since she knew that money does everything in the prison . She will slowly develops feelings for they by the time , possibly becoming friends and even more.

• History: Jolyne is a prisoner that has to complete her 15 year sentence. Once a dumb , naive girl became an aggressive , blunt lady with curves that would bring a horse to its knees. Jolyne was 19 years old and living in Florida. She had been dating a guy named Romeo Jisso.

Romeo was driving Jolyne somewhere when they accidentally hit a pedestrian on the road.

Instead of immediately dealing with the accident honestly, Romeo panicked. He convinced Jolyne to help him hide what happened.

The important part is that Jolyne wasn't actually the person who killed the man. Romeo was responsible for the accident, but he manipulated Jolyne into helping him cover it up.

The frame-up

Romeo and Jolyne disposed of the body and attempted to conceal the crime.

However, Romeo eventually turned on Jolyne.

He essentially made a deal that shifted the blame onto her, allowing himself to avoid the consequences while Jolyne became the one who was prosecuted.

Jolyne was subsequently arrested.

But there was another layer to the situation: Jolyne's mother hired a lawyer to defend her, and the evidence wasn't enough for Jolyne to receive an extremely severe sentence.

That is where things get particularly nasty.

💰 Jolyne was tricked into accepting a plea deal

Jolyne's lawyer told her that she should accept a plea bargain.

The deal was essentially:

Jolyne would plead guilty. She would receive a relatively limited prison sentence. She would avoid a much worse sentence if convicted at trial.

Jolyne accepted it.

But the lawyer was working against her.

The lawyer had been bribed/coerced as part of the conspiracy surrounding Jolyne. He deliberately encouraged her to take the deal while making sure she wouldn't understand the full consequences.

Jolyne was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

She was sent to the Green Dolphin Street Prison in Florida.

And that's where the real story begins.

But Jolyne wasn't innocent in the legal sense

This is one of the interesting things about her situation.

Jolyne did participate in the cover-up.

Money earned through said work can be used to purchase bonus vanity items and decorations at a gift shop. However, the prison does have various restrictions, such as the prohibition of metallic objects. Prisoners must also shave their heads and follow curfew, though this can be bypassed by bribing the barber and, sometimes, the guards.

• known staff: Green Dolphin Street Prison has a full staff of prison guards, and other support workers from doctors to a prison priest. Most of them disdain the prisoners because of the crimes they've committed and are abusive to a high degree. Due to the dangerousness of the prison's occupants, the guards are extremely trigger-happy as well and don't hesitate to shoot prisoners caught in unauthorized areas. They are also somewhat professional when it comes to alerts, quickly donning full riot control gear and coming in numbers to quell any uprising, which has led to a general state of quietness among prisoners.

On the other hand, the staff are also very corrupt and regularly allow prisoners to break the rules of the facility in exchange for monetary bribes ( the better the bribes the more rules can be broken )

• inmates: Most of the inmates have been rightfully sentenced to prison for various heinous crimes, which are reflected in their general demeanor. Almost all inmates are hardened criminals who will use violence to fulfill their goals. Moreover, a good part of them are also unstable, being psychotic or having other mental afflictions. Because of a lack of oversight, most inmates are left to their own devices, leading to a state in which it is easy for prisoners and bullies to prey on the weakest among them.

Most of the inmates are females , while some of them are males , most of the men are maniacs and psychos , who are held in separate Ultra Security House Unit because they endangered others to a high degree.

• Ultra Security House Unit: it is a separate section of the prison designed to isolate prisoners who are unable to coexist with the rest. This includes those who are in need of protection, child murderers, and prisoners who are prone to violence or frequently try to escape. The facility is located on the southern section of the Men's exercise ground, situated 520 meters away from the Women's ward.
