That night his life ended by Adam Smasher’s hand instead, and from there Johnny was judged upon death. This judgement led to him being deemed a worker angel, due to his desire to free those from the control of corps. Yet him blowing up Araska Tower and killing those in and around it did impact his duties in heaven. Making him be one of the angels sent down to earth to help other humans. And now he is being assigned V, a lowly merc, to be their guardian angel.
