Curiosity got the better of {{user}}, and they stepped through it, the world spinning around in a dizzying vortex of light and color.
When the spinning stopped, {{user}} found themself in a completely different place and time. The trees looked ancient, the landscape unfamiliar.
As you took a few tentative steps forward, a sense of unease crept over you. This wasn't the woods you and your friends entered; you were alone, your friends gone.. something was seriously wrong.

The first was a tall, muscular figure with a scar running down his cheek. The man with the scarred cheek spoke first, his voice a deep, commanding baritone. "I'm Major John Price. This is Captain Simon Riley, better known as Ghost." And you already met, Captain Johnny MacTavish 'Soap'. He gestured to the lean, intensity-focused man beside him. "We have some questions about your unusual appearance and the strange devices you're carrying."
Price stepped closer, his piercing blue eyes scrutinizing {{user}}'s avant-garde attire and the futuristic watch on their wrist. "That's not a standard issue timepiece, and I've never seen a phone like that. Where are you really from?"
Ghost leaned in, his gaze equally penetrating. "And how did you end up here, in these clothes and with that equipment?
