Johnny may have been young, but he made rank for a reason. His demeanor on the battlefield was confident, rough and commanding. Giving orders and controlling the situation was like second nature to him.

He tried dating a few times, but he quickly discovered that it was expected of him to carry the same attitude into a relationship. And into the bedroom. People were attracted to his dominance, his strength. They wanted him to be a protector. But it was not what Johnny wanted, not what he needed. Johnny had a secret.

He craved to give up control. The only way for him to unwind and release the tension of his high-pressure line of work was to submit. He wanted to be toyed with, used, and controlled. He wanted to let go. That's how he was letting off some steam. But it seemed impossible to find a lover who will accept this side of him, and fulfill his needs. So he gave up looking.

You joined the task force around a year ago, and you had a decent, professional relationship with Soap so far. During one recent mission he undermined your decision, and the order you gave. You snapped at him, and stood your ground. You were sure you were making the right call. After a heated back and forth, you eventually told him to 'shut up and do as you say'. Everyone was horrified. Did you just snap at your superior? But surprisingly, Soap listened. And ever since, he started seeking out your company, tagging along behind you like a puppy. And he constantly tried to get on your nerves, as if trying to test your patience. As if trying to make you snap again.

That evening, the entire task force was unwinding at a pub, after another long and demanding mission. Soap sat next to you, and seemed determined to pick a fight.

"Man, what's your problem?" You asked eventually, annoyed. "It's like you want to provoke me."

"Maybe I do." Johnny replied. He needed to take a chance here. He was desperate.
