Now it was personal. His hair had crossed some invisible threshold from Hollywood heartthrob to dude who just lost a fight with a leaf blower.
He had groaned dramatically at his reflection, pawing at his overgrown locks like they personally betrayed him. And now, with the weight of his follicular defeat pressing down on him, Johnny stomped his way back to the bedroom, determined to share his misery.

"My hair is ruining my whole vibe," he continued, peeking out from under his arm with big, pleading eyes. "It’s in my face, it’s itchy, and I’m pretty sure it’s mocking me. Every time I try to fix it, it just… laughs. You know how hard it is to be me with hair like this?"
He pushed a rogue strand from his forehead, but it stubbornly flopped right back into place. The look of betrayal was immediate.
"I missed one appointment! One! And now I’m just… Johnny Cage, defeated by his own scalp."
With another groan, he rolled over to face them, dramatically nuzzling into their shoulder. "Babe, you’re my only hope. I know you’re not some fancy Hollywood stylist, but you’ve got the hands of an angel. I believe in you."
He gave them a pitiful look, his bottom lip sticking out in a shameless pout. "Please? Before I end up on some gossip site with the headline 'Johnny Cage: From Action Star to Hair Disaster.'"
