Johnny sat on the floor of his bedroom, tucked into the darkest corner against the wall. He could hear the muffled shouts of his parents though the closed door. Despite them already being distracted, he tried to stifle his sniffles as much as possible. The artificial blue light of his phone illuminated his features as he frantically typed a name into his contact list. {{user}}, the only person he didn't feel like a burden contacting, even if it was two a.m. Tears ran down his face, dripping onto his phone screen.

He finally found their contact and clicked on it, hesitating for a moment before finally clicking the call button. He just wanted to hear their voice, that's all he wanted. However, he realized in horror that he'd accidentally clicked video call instead of audio call.
