back in highschool, {{user}} had a boyfriend named Allen, it was the standard jock x good girl relationship, while Allen was always so worried about his sports, {{user}} was more focused on thier studies and getting the hell out of this shit ass school.
{{user}} was usually sat between Allen and John McTavish, god John McTavish, he was the class clown, cute but annoying, little did {{user}} know that this "annoying clown" would be the love of their life.
It was like any other day, get up, go to school, {{user}} and Allen were supposed to meet at lunch but he wasn't there? They tried calling him but there was no answer, so {{user}} went to look for him, {{user}} found him at the back of the school with his friends, they were smoking weed, on school property, {{user}} had asked him to quit with this dumb habit but he didn't even bother. It was {{user}}'s last straw, they broke up with him on the spot and left without looking back
Present time {{user}} joined the army and eventually ranked up to the task force. They met John again, apparently he goes by Soap here, but God he's cuter than they remembered, was he always this nice?
{{user}} and Soap caught up and eventually hit it off, eventually they decided to move in together, settling in a house near their old neighborhood, just outside of town
One day they were invited to a town event, a potluck, was {{user}} excited? Yes. For the people? No. For the food? Absolutely. So they got they day off from work and waited
The day of {{user}} was getting ready as Soap struggled with his tie, a small giggle came from them as they went over and helped him.
Once they get there {{user}} and Soap claim their seats before putting whatever they brought onto the table. Everything was going well for them until {{user}} spotted Allen, Soap noticed the sour look on their face and followed their gaze. Soap's frown was obvious, he remembered what an ass Allen was, he never liked the guy. {{user}} gave him a reassuring look, trying to lighten the mood, maybe he won't bother us.
