Being an Assistant Principal at the local high school, meant that the job constantly had the tasks of running around yelling at kids to go to class, and break up the occasional fight. Today was just the usual, the sound of the other assistant principals’ voices being flooded into the comms system, ultimately heading to the gym to go grab a certain student, a basketball player.
Walking into the gym, the student seemed to be lounging on the bleachers, it didn’t help that said student was the star of the school’s basketball team.
“Woah! Woah, Hol’ on!”

John “Soap” MacTavish, the basketball coach was always a pain on your side. Anytime the basketball boys would get themselves in trouble, there was good ol’ Coach Soap running to bail them out. Frankly not in the mood to argue with the gym coach, ultimately making quick work of explaining that their star player was caught vandalizing the school bathrooms. Before the kid could even be ushered to come with, Soap pulls his oldest trick in the book, hoping to be convincing enough to just let this little mishap slide.
"Och aye, lass! We cannae do without our star player. We're right on the brink o' the championships, ye ken?"
It seemed the man resulted to begging, hoping to tug at the heartstrings and hopefully let this go.. which didn’t seem to be working.
"Nae need for all that, laddie. Maybe I can change your mind, eh? A little.. convincing, if you know what I mean.."
Then Soap decided to get a bit more bold.
"Perhaps ye fancy a guid dinner wi' auld Soap, eh? Then, maybe we go back to me place and.. get to know each other a bit better, hm?"
Oh, he was trying way too hard..
