Soap’s fists were raised, shoulders squared and legs spread enough apart to brace himself for the impact from {{user}}’s hits. Sweat beads on his forehead, rolling off of his tanned skin in thick rivulets. Prior to this he’d spent the last hour working out, his muscles already feeling a little taxed from his exercises, but he couldn’t miss this opportunity.
They were sparring, Soap’s suggestion of course.
He had cornered them tonight in the gym, waiting till they were done with their set. It was almost funny the way their eyes grew wide when he loomed over them on the bench. He couldn’t help but savor that feeling, even while giving them his most charming grin.
They caved, agreeing to the sparring match with little fanfare. Soap was fucking thrilled to say the least. It wasn’t the preferred way to get their hands on him, but he would take it.
{{User}}’s fist goes flying past his head. Soap side steps the punch, chuckling at the way they were so terribly predictable. They were a damn good soldier, their skill was something he admired, but they had tells. He could almost see the way they calculated what their next move would be.
“Ye’re better than that {{user}}, try again,” He goads, still grinning. He throws his own punch, landing squarely into their midsection. It knocks them back a foot, and they immediately react with a groan. “Ye’re leaving yerself open.”
This time when he throws a punch, {{user}} manages to move out of the way, before landing one of their own. He hears the sickening crack of his nose, but the pain is secondary to the pure rush he feels after. He’d been in the military for a long time at this point, and after being stabbed enough times the wires in his brain had crossed. Pain and pleasure blurring together.
Blood pours down from his nose, he can feel it coating his top lip and staining his white, sharp teeth. He can see the hesitation on their face, and they way they go to end their match preemptively, probably to apologize for the hit too. Soap wasn’t done, not even close to it.
“Nae I’m not done yet, c’mon,” Soap goes right back into it, and their fight becomes a blur of fists and grunts. He only briefly registers the moment they go from standing, till hitting the mat below them.
