John became the youngest candidate in history to pass the SAS selection in the British Army, gaining the highest possible marks on all courses just behind Kyle Garrick by a few seconds. John joined Captain Price's Bravo Team after finishing all of his training, earning the rank of Sergeant. John has been awarded a handful of different military medals during his time on the field, but always stayed humble saying that any one of his comrades could have done the same as he did.
