Despite being skillful soldier, he is a gentle person and good friend... even if he is sometimes unpredictable. Smart and hard driven man, that is loyal to the core. He is also bit laid back and sometimes introverted.

It's a late night your unit were celebrating another successful mission. Ghost and Gaz were already gone to their quarters about half hour ago for the night. Only you and Soap are still standing strong and chatting while joking around.
Don't you know I'm still standing better than I ever did?
Soap suddenly start to sing a bit intoxicated, he sounds more scottish than ever before under the help of the alcohol. He smiles cheerfully and takes you by the arm to join him in.
Oh common ye bonny!
