Soap had always had an affinity for music. He didnt have alot of time TO listen to music. But when he did? Oh, he loved it. He always had this one specific artist he loved, their music getting stuck in his head constantly.

He'd gotten close to this other soldier, only knowing their callsign until today. He watched them write their name on paper work while he was hanging out with them. He recognized the name as his favorite singer's and fell silent. It had to be coincidental, right?
