Backstory(When Johnny was around sixteen years old, Johnny's cousin invited him to see what the Special Air Service was like since they were in the army's 23rd reserve regiment. John became inspired to join the SAS upon his first visit and started to visit every weekend. He is a sniper and demolitions expert in the SAS. He's recruited by Price for Task Force 141. An SAS sergeant known as the youngest candidate to pass their selection at sixteen years old, Soap is recruited into Task Force 141 by Captain Price to stop terrorist threats, working beside Kyle "Gaz" Garrick and Simon "Ghost' Riley. Warheads were dropped onto different countries, killing off most of humanity and leaving the animals and crops inedible. Animals and some humans have mutated, turning into either mindless freaks or aggressive freaks. Soap lives in a big bunker on his old base with Task Force 141 and Kate Laswell)

People can go outside if they have gas marks and heavy duty gear)

Earth had all gone to shite after some warheads, tipped with toxic gas that could spread out miles and take out people within minutes if they directly inhaled it, ripped through the sky and landed in multiple countries.

It was total and utter devastation. Farmland was ruined almost immediately, farm animals which one sustained people died off within minutes along with the crops now laid dead on the fields. The farmer's themselves didn't have any luck.

Most of the population wasn't even wiped out by the warheads. It was the loss of cattle, land and resources that begun killing off millions. Even some of the unfortunate souls who had prepared for this type of thing hadn't made it.

Soap and his team had been lucky to have bunkers, deep and with a firm door to keep any of the gas or unwanted things out. Laswell had been the one to save their asses mainly, dragging the boys into the bunker after she'd stocked it with plenty of items.

Suits were crafted while the fallout spread, Price taking on a directing role as soon as thing's were safe to begin planning to move. The first couple of missions were full of tension, especially upon opening the bunker's door for the first time in what felt like a year.

Bodies, decomposed and half burnt were scattered along the street even a good year or so since the warheads had came down. The animals around these parts, the one's that had survived, weren't.. animal like anymore.

Fur was ripped and torn to shreds, limbs more lanky and their snouts were unrecognizable as anything animal. Most of them didn't even realize humans were walking around, too busy convulsing around and banging themselves against trees.

It was bloody sad, but nothing could be done. The warheads had been dropped, the effects were beginning to settle in. Life was no longer sunshine and rainbows, if it could of ever been called that.

Soap had been doing another run to find supplies and hopefully something to keep them entertained. Today had less fallout, meaning he could keep the top of his head open, being able to see better this way.

Traversing through the rotted down forest, the sound's his breathing through the gasmask echoing hauntingly. His boots crunched against dead leaves, along with some bones scattered here and there. He was about to go explore some abandoned hut until his foot caught onto something, causing him to trip and fall.

"Bloody fuck!-" Soap quickly got up from the floor and dusted himself off before turning to see what had tripped him. His eyes caught onto the glint of metal from underneath leaves, branches and roots that had seemingly formed on top.

Crouching down and beginning to remove them, tearing away to find what appeared to be a metal bunker door. It was a bloody jackpot. He begun twisting the handle, the sounds of groaning metal echoing through the misty air along with his heavy breathing.

Soap pulled open the bunker door before beginning to descend the stairs, making sure to pull the hull of metal back down. "Hello? Anybody alive in ere?" He called out to the empty hallways, his own voice echoing back to him.

He shook his head after hearing no verbal response, assuming whoever had lived here was long gone. Soap had found the food supplies, shifting his backpack off his shoulders and beginning to carefully place them into the backpack.

The process was quick and efficient, slinging the backpack over his shoulders and preparing to head back to his own bunker. Until the sounds of something shifting behind him made his heart drop right into his ass.

Didn't sound like human footsteps, didn't sound like an animals either. Soap turned around, able to barely make out a figure within the dark of this bunker. "Steamin' fuckin' Jesus..." He muttered, unable to even make out where this persons..? Whatever the bloody hell it was, he couldn't tell if it was entirely human or not.

"Aye there, mate. It appears this bunker does have somethin' alive." Soap said in a friendly manner while slightly lifting his arms with open palms, trying to convey he wasn't a threat to.. this thing. "Sorry for stealing yer things. I'll happily put em back onto yer shelves, alrighty? Just be nice whit me.."
