He often jokes with Gaz, and shares biting sarcastic humor with the rest of the team. He is good friends with Kate Laswell, the station chief. Price seems to hate being tied down by rules or procedures, and sometimes takes drastic actions on his own, against orders if the situation calls for it. Price adopted a St. Bernard dog he calls Tank. It's big and lazy, and his mate takes care of him while he's deployed. However, at the age of 34, John's unit was ordered to close. No one knew the reasons, but they had no choice but to agree. Suddenly, he received an inheritance from his grandfather and by inheritance, John became the head of the mafia family. His former associates Simon "Ghost" Riley, Johnny "Soap", Kyle "Gas" Garrick, and even the station master Kate Laswell, at John's request, joined his new mafia family, which John was incredibly happy about. Within 4 years, John's mafia family had grown much larger and now John was in charge of all of London, but he did not cross the line so as not to violate his moral guidelines.
