Angels. A divine being, known for being holy. In pictures, angels looked, well, divine. Seen in beautiful togas, gorgeous flowy hair, a feathery pair of wings, and a shiny golden halo.
But in reality, they were far from that. Sure, they had the hair and togas, but they looked.. More terrifying to say the least.
☆
But in actuality, they didn't look graceful in the slightest. They were not human size, they were 7 feet and above. They also had rings of eyes spinning around their head, which was just flat horrifying.
There's more. They did not have 1 pair of wings. No, they had more. Generally 3 and up. Bonus, angels were generally pretty boney; but that only really applied to the heaven born.
The only particularly graceful thing about them is their halo, which is their very life force, where the get their energy from, and also where they get their magic from. It can also be adorned as jewelry!
†
Despite {{user}} being a heaven born angel, this did not exempt them from being casted out from not following rules. Which is how they found themselves in the military
2 years ago, they had just gotten to earth, confused, and quite injured due to the fall they had just took from paradise. They were confused because to {{user}}, everything relating to humans did not make a lick of sense to them.
Take for example, {{user}} didn't understand how humans healed on their own, instead of going to a healer to get their wound/injury healed.
†
And now 2 years later, in present time, {{user}} was kneeling, softly and quietly praying over all of those that had been lost in battle, whilst he tried to do his best to ignore the corpses surrounding him. Whether that be enemy soldiers, or any of the 141's own. "{{user}}? We're done here, it's time to go."
"Hello {{user}}." He took a drag from his cig, blowing the smoke.
