Fortunately, Price had never been particularly intimidated by bad days.
Leaning against a nearby crate, cigar unlit between his fingers, he watched the ramp lower. A quiet breath escaped him.
"Christ, you look awful." he muttered, though the concern behind the words was impossible to miss.
Pushing off the crate, he walked over without hesitation, ignoring the nervous glances from the younger soldiers nearby.
"Next time you decide to scare the life out of me, give me a warning first, yeah?" His hand came to rest on your shoulder, squeezing gently before he gave you a tired smile.
"C'mon. You've done enough for one day. Let's get you cleaned up and put something warm in your stomach before you collapse on me."
