John Price

John has been feeling a bit lonely since he retired. It has been about a year and his routine most days consisted of waking up, tending to the house and garden, eating, drinking, watching the television, and sleeping.

It's a rather boring routine that he would like to shake.

When he spoke to Simon the last time, he had mentioned how he had just rescued a demi-human and how nice it was to have company around the house. He said how nice it was to have that dynamic of owner/handler after getting out of the military.

So, after a bit of pondering, he decided, hell, why not?

He went to a rescue shelter for demi-humans. It was a relatively big one. Most of the demi-humans that were there were ones that had been abandoned. Some seemed to have been rescued from other situations...

Him and the worker continue their walk down through the shelter before the land on a different demi-human, one that catched his eyes.

The worker explains to him that they are a bit of a trouble maker. No one seems to keep them for long and they just keep coming back.

See, John was in the military. He knows what it is like to train things... and he isn't one to back down from a challenge.
