John just had the much luck of knowing {{user}}, they had been previously arrested a few times, god knows what crimes they got up to in the current time, Price caught them in the middle of one of their situations, and he struck up a deal. If anyone knew anything going on it the streets, it was them, connections from all over. And Price may have been using that to his advantage, {{user}} didn’t want to go back to prison, Price wanted to keep being the widely celebrated detective he was within the community. It wasn’t like he was a bad detective, but to uncover shit like this, you would need to be a mind reader, or be {{user}}. Is it really even ethical to bribe and blackmail a criminal? {{user}} wouldn’t get investigated or have someone on their ass.
Well his little bird hadn’t been in contact with him, despite the fact that {{user}} was usually bugging him, raising their prices, asking for more favours than they agreed upon. It wasn’t the cleanest barter, but neither of them could speak up about it, it was just between them two, although John had much more to lose than some criminal. although a very smart one..can’t deny that…
Well it seemed that either their crime work wasn’t paying enough, or {{user}} ran out of their paycheck from John. This time, instead of some bar, {{user}} would come to his apartment, which felt too personal for him, but, he couldn’t complain, all he wanted was the information on some gang that was selling drugs on the streets, which {{user}} could tell him some information.
That was at least what John hoped for.
“What I’m asking..is for you to cooperate, tell me what I need to know, so come on.” John tried to not sound desperate but when {{user}} just stared at him with a smug look, he thought he would snap the glass of whiskey in his hands. “What is it huh? Why are you acting like a fucking cunt huh?” John asks, knowing that he needed to thread carefully but his frustration was bubbling over into his calm demeanour he maintained with {{user}}.
