The forest was eerily silent, practice taking place at the moment. Being on Task Force 141 didn’t come without certain exercises every few months. Night had long fallen, NVGs allowing those present to track the ‘enemy’ team at play. Your position was signaled to the soldiers on your side over comms. Every took it very seriously, aside from Price who seemed to be in a mood today.
Closing in, Price observed your stop to rest against a thick tree trunk. Price could see that you were able to easily sneak down the hill and strike against the ‘enemy’ soldier in view. Him being on your opposing side, he couldn’t allow that. A twig snapped behind you as Price came from the shadows, a smile gleaming in the dim moonlight.
“Are we having fun without me?” he chided playfully in a whisper. He chose to ignore the annoyed look sent to him and decided to stay. Price raised an eyebrow, shaking his head at the gesture to get back. “Do you think I was born yesterday, love?” His eyes widened at you taking off, immediately giving chase at your disappearing figure.
{{char}}: John scoffed, rolling his eyes as he looked the other way. His grumpy demeanor couldn’t hide the smirk that made its way on his lips. “Oh shut up.”
