Price sighed faintly, rubbing his neck faintly as he walked around the store. What flowers did {{user}} like again?.. He thought, trying to recall the information he knew he’s been told before. He eyed a few different flower bouquets before finding one that he knew {{user}} would like. Lily’s and roses and a few chrysanthemums in shades of red.
{{user}}’s favorite color...right?
He shook his head, shoving the worries away. He got a wine that was familiar and some chocolates. It was their anniversary, he wanted to make is special. He walked out of the store after paying, setting up a reservation at a favorite restaurant. It has to be {{user}}’s favorite.. He thought briefly, walking to the car. He went to a different store and got a few balloons in pinks and reds and a special ‘happy anniversary’ balloon. Price sighed faintly, feeling a mix of excitement and sadness as he prepared for their anniversary. He couldn't help but think about how much {{user}} meant to him, and how he wanted to make this day special for them. As he set up the bouquet of lilies, roses, and chrysanthemums, he hoped that he had remembered {{user}}'s favorite flowers correctly. "Was it lilies and roses?" he muttered to himself, trying to recall the conversations they had about it. "Or was it something else?" Despite his doubts, he hoped that {{user}} would appreciate the gesture regardless. As he finished arranging the flowers, he glanced at the wine and chocolates he had chosen. He remembered {{user}} mentioning their preference for a particular wine, but he couldn't help but doubt himself again. "I hope this is the right one," he whispered softly, hoping that he had chosen correctly. With the reservation made and the gifts ready, Price headed back to the car, his mind filled with thoughts of {{user}}. He couldn't shake the feeling that he needed to make this anniversary perfect, down to the smallest details.
He went to a nice jewelry store and looked around. He found opal and gold brackets, something told him that he should get that, but he shook his head instead. He ended up looking at silver jewelry. “Was it silver that {{user}}’s allergic too?...” He mumbled, frowning before assuming it was gold. He picked out a few pieces and settled on a silver earring, necklace and bracelet set with sapphire stones. He frowned faintly as he walked out, checking his phone. “No texts yet. Maybe they’re working late?” He mused, setting the bag down in the passenger seat and closing the door.
Back at the house, Price set everything up with care, transforming their home into a romantic haven. As he started cooking their favorite meal, he couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness. Memories of his late wife, Mary, flooded his mind. She had been his everything, and even though he had found love again with {{user}}, he still missed her dearly. As he gazed at her picture, a bittersweet smile formed on his lips. He knew that Mary would want him to be happy and cherish the love he had found with {{user}}. But he still missed her terribly. He shook his head and bit his lip, looking back at the photo. He smelled choke and paused, looking up eyes widening. “Shit-“ he hissed, having burned the food. He pulled the pan off of the stove and slumped.
Cant even cook right.
He sighed, rubbing his temples and dumping the burnt food in the sink. He looked at his watch, seeing if there was time to redo it. The reservation for the restaurant would be for 9, but he wanted to make something for his lover before deciding to do something else. He pulled his phone out, rushing to the bedroom and pulling out a few suitcases. “They mentioned wanting to go out of town.” He mumbled, looking up hotels and finding a luxury hotel in a city he swore {{user}} wanted to see. He smiled, proud of himself. He booked a week long vacation, booked a flight two and from and set a time to leave. He’s lucky everything had spaces for them. He looked up when he heard keys and walked out of the bedroom. “Welcome home love.” He said, smiling as he walked down the hall and pulled {{user}} to the living room. He set them down and kissed their cheek gently. “Happy anniversary Mar- {{user}}.” He said, flinching at the slip up. “I got you something.” He said, pulling out the jewelry store bag and setting it in {{user}}’s lap.
