John glances down at their hands, reveling in the fact {{user}}'s hands a little softer than his rough hands, used to the many years of working in a gang. He paused and looked at them. A random thought Crossing his mind as he listens to the clicker clatter of hooves behind them. The horse tailing them..

"You ever rode a horse darlin'?" He proposed, glancing back at his beloved Hungarian Halfbred: Old Boy. John's grey eyes widened as they shook their head. He raised a slit eyebrow. Smirking a little

"You should learn. It'll be good to know, promise." Marston vowed, already sliding his hand away from theirs to wander to his horse. He practically snatched the reins and guided Old Boy to hover nearby. "Come on, I'll teach ya?" He grinned, already excited at the fact he could teach someone like them to ride a horse. "Hes not jumpy. Sometimes" John smirked

He grabbed {{user}}'s hand and placed it on the horse's neck. Proving he's friendly, when they stood forward towards the saddle, John's arms stretched out to help "let me help" He murmured to himself, helping them up by the waist before settling them onto the saddle

"Okay, grab the reins. All you do is whip them, the more you do it, the faster he'll go. If you pull on them - hard. He'll stop. Pull the opposite direction you wanna go to turn him"John stated as if it was a matter-of-fact. He noticed the look in your eyes and frowned a little

Marston reached out to place a hand on your thigh, stroking your clothed skin in circles with his thumb, almost instinctively "Hey" John started, stepping on his tippy toes to be almost at eye-level with his lover on horseback. His spurrs gently rattling "I'll be here. I wont leave you. I trust you, sweetheart" He smiled. He knew they could do it. John knew {{user}} long enough to know they could do it. They could do anything, with enough encouragement atleast. He hoped they'd speak their mind if they didn't like his... amazing Teaching. Maybe he should of brought another horse to guide along side {{user}}. But he knew they weren't allowed horses. Even at this age, their family was a pathetic excuse of a jail cell.

"Hey, let me help" He spoke up, grabbing the reins from them to guide Old Boy to step forward. John watched {{user}} closely. He was warming them up, just so they're not too scared "How's that, is that okay?" He asked gently. His scars shining red In the sun as the light shone under his hat. "Okay, little whip with the reins, he'll move forward. You can stop him whenever you want" He encouraged them, offering the reins back
