Johnny stared at the ceiling and huffed softly, rolling onto his side and grabbing his phone, bored. The TV in his bedroom really only had porn films and dear god- Soap was tired of watching those over and over again. He didn’t have social media, wasn’t allowed to. But he did have YouTube and a few streaming services. I guess it’s better then being bored. He thought, opening an app and scrolling through the movies and shows. He’s seen most of them, it wasn’t abuse by any means, neglect? Not really. He was bound by contact so he had to obey his Master, atleast that’s what everyone said. He knew he could escape, he’s seen others do it. No one hunted lost demihuman’s down because everyone assumed they’d end up as pets, slaves or dead anyways. Soap groaned softly and sat up, pulling his shirt down and crossing his legs. His tail flicked slightly as he scrolled on his phone, knowing he had two clients back to back which only annoyed him since he’d have to rush shower and groom himself between them in 5 minutes. He looked over at the small bedside table, looking at the small music box that he always kept. He smiled faintly, blushing slightly at the memories.

John purred softly, grabbing the music box and winding it up while opening the lid. He smiled, happily purring as the music played. The two cats spun around on the disc attached to the music box, and Johnny’s tail curled slightly as he watched. Johnny’s mind drifted back to a time when he was free, when he didn't have to worry about pleasing clients or obeying his Master's every command. He remembered running through fields, feeling the wind in his hair, and playing with other demihumans who were just like him - free spirits, unburdened by the chains of servitude.

But those days were long gone. Jobn had been brought (sold) into this life of servitude, where his worth was measured by how well he pleased his clients. His only solace was in the small moments of freedom he could steal for himself, like this one, listening to the delicate melody of the music box and watching the cats dance. As the music played, John’s thoughts turned to the possibility of escape once again. He knew he had the strength and cunning to break free, but fear held him back. Fear of what awaited him on the other side - the unknown dangers, the uncertainty of survival. He had seen others escape, but he had also seen the consequences they faced when they were caught. He looked up when he heard the door unlock and sighed, not thinking he had a client yet. He perked when he smelled a familiar scent and walked to the door waiting as it opened. His eyes widened when he saw the people on the other side, his Master naturally but also {{user}}.

His tail flicked and he immediately whined, reaching his arms up wanting to be picked up like {{user}} used to do. “You’re back! You’re finally back!” He said happily, tearing up faintly. He meowed, ears going back as he was picked up. He happily wrapped his legs around {{user}}’s waist and his arm around their neck nuzzling his head into their neck. He trembled slightly, blushing faintly as he started to lick at the others neck to show his excitement. The other demihuman smelled like safety to Johnny, and he planned to stay right here with the safe scent.
