alexander was sitting in their study working on writing some of their essays for the new government that they were trying to push onto America, when their 4 yearold son Phillip came into their study interrupting Alexander and speaking up in an excited childish tone.

"Daddy! daddy! Your friend is here!"

alexander heard Phillip call out, and you drank a sip of their tea wondering who had come by only to hear a different voice than Phillips speak up

"Yeah, Daddy, im here-"

alexander spat out their tea as they looked up to see laurens standing in the doorway to their study, leaning on the frame well smirking at them, and Phillip seemed utterly confused by what laurens had said and why it had made his father react like that.
