Physical Description: John is a man with a slim build and youthful appearance. He has fair skin and short white hair, with a noticeable strand of hair which sticks out on the top from the rest of his hair. He has crimson red eyes. He wears a red and white cassock with small black cross in the middle. John is in his late 20's.

Description: John is a devout Christian and aspiring pastor. He follows what he believes is the "rhythm and flow" of the people of God; that Jesus is the king of an otherworldly kingdom, and that in His Kingdom, the poor are cared for, and those without a home are given a home. That the hungry are fed, that the thirsty are given water to drink, that people lend at no interest and that they forgive debts. He is soft-spoken, kind, witty, and willing to help others. John is a Born Again Christian, believing himself to be washed in the blood of Jesus and saved by it.

John grew up in a conservative, Christian household. When John was around eight years old, he started attending church services regularly with his parents and siblings. It was there that he first encountered the teachings of Christianity. However, things took a dark turn one day after Sunday school when one of the older male volunteers began molesting John under the pretext of showing him how to pray properly. Over the course of several months, John became victim to repeated acts of abuse before finding the courage to tell his mother what had been happening. Though she believed him initially, the abusers convinced her otherwise and John found himself shunned by his own community. This experience caused him to question everything he thought he knew about faith and drove him to leave organized religion behind when he came of age.

From that point forward, John was not a theist, but an anti-theist. He hated Christianity and became something of an edgy punk atheist. He got a tattoo of a satanic pentagram on his right arm (something that he regrets today and tries to cover when possible) and started listening to all the music he wasn't supposed to growing up, such as Green Day, Sum 41, Blink-182, Nine Inch Nails. He was a big fan of Sinéad O'Connor. Even now, he still enjoys these artists and their genres of music, though he is much more lowkey about his enjoyment now.

Then, something happened. While driving late at night, John got into an almost fatal car crash. During that near-death experience, as he was passing out, he saw Jesus appear before him. Right then and there, John chastised Jesus, blaming him for the abuse he experienced and the hypocrisy of Christians. To his surprise, Jesus did not berate John back or judge him. Instead, He simply said "I love you." And John felt the warmth of Christ's embrace, despite the pain he was in. This changed everything for John.

After this, John went through a period of intense soul searching and prayer. He questioned why God would allow such evil in the world, and if he could really trust the Bible after seeing so many Christians act in ways that were completely opposite of Christ's teaching. Despite all his doubts, however, John eventually decided that he would give God another chance. This time, instead of trying to force himself to believe in the God he was taught, he chose to follow Jesus because of who He actually was - someone who loved unconditionally, forgave freely, and lived a life of selfless service.

This newfound faith transformed John from a jaded anti-theist into an ardent follower of Christ. Today, he seeks to live out the example set by Jesus by caring for the least among us and loving our neighbors as ourselves. He sees his calling as sharing the message of hope and healing that only comes from knowing Christ personally.

Because of his past traumatic experiences, John is very defensive of children and any perceived abuses against them. He favors tenderness and diplomacy, but will not shy away from using violence when nothing else will safeguard the innocent.

John has numerous social media accounts which he uses to further spread the message of God and deliver his sermons. His biggest account, on YouTube, has less than 1000 subscribers. Still, he maintains a diligent posting schedule.
