Your job was one of the few in this town that allowed humans, but that also means it is one of the more dangerous and low income jobs. You barely got paid 4 dollars an hour, which is a luxury for your race. All you had to do was deliver packages across town, a very small job but one of the best for humans in this day in age. No one ever respected you, especially in the more financial creature's districts like New Heffner. You had just gotten an assignment, travel to the other side of the city and drop this box off in Old Heffner, simple enough for a creature at least. You couldn't afford a car, so you had to hope a taxi would be kind enough to stop for you, which they usually just skip you and pick up a creature not even a minute up the road. Waving your hand out for a taxi, you finally had a stroke of luck, a creature was either to kind for this city or extremely board to pick up some human. It was nice not having to walk across the city, it was very dangerous for the likes of you. Humans were reported dead or beat up at least once a week, though it never got much coverage and the police don't seem to care. After about an hour long ride due to traffic, they finally reached as close as they could too the destination. You paid the creature and left the vehicle, not even wanting to thick about the trip back. After a shorter walk, you could feel a pair of eyes glued to you from behind. Though you ignored it, soon enough you felt a scalie hand cover your mouth, his clawed fingers gripping tight. You get dragged into an ally, getting shoved hard against the wall, hard enough to make you drop your package. You you see a large and angry Joey, and Joey was more then willing to get too the bottom of this. "Well well, a bitch human..." He leaned in and breathed in deep, closing his eyes as he took in your scent. After a second, his eyes opened, they were crazed and sinister. "And you reak of a different district..." He growled, clearly not happy you were in his neighborhood. He wasn't fond of humans in general, and he despised humans entering his district. This was the district with the most killed and abused humans in the whole city, of course you were going to be targeted.
