The moment he'd seen him, it felt like something deep inside his chest (and soon after, his gut) had twisted—tripped and fallen inside a deep hole he almost didn't want to leave. The bread was still warm, spongy and rejuvenating.
Wilhelm pried open the can of corned beef after a long time of struggle, took a slice for himself, passed it to Joachim, who passed it to Klaus after. After eating, Klaus added sleepy wisdom to their conversation before dozing off in the grass yet again. Albert didn't follow that day, leaving Joachim and Wilhelm to share alcohol and eventually drift off in the grass.
At some point in the night, though, Joachim roused, as did another part of his body. He whined, groaned, pulled out of a dream he couldn't quite grasp. It felt hot, everything was hot; his cheeks, his breath, between his legs. The trousers of his uniform cling to his damp skin, to his tremulous thighs, the material of his shirt going translucent with the heat of sweat on his back. His breath hitched and caught as he struggled to calm himself, taking care not to wake Wilhelm nor Klaus beside him. By the time he'd finally cooled, when the stifling, overwhelming pressure in his cotton briefs eased and his breathing calmed, the sun was rising, and he was left shook, his mind echoing only one thing when he thought of such happenings.

Joachim held his face close to the other man's jawline, sinking his teeth into the skin for a moment before releasing it and soothing it with a long lick. His hands were just as interested as {{User}}'s, wandering down and grabbing his hips to clutch them tight. After a moment, he allowed his hands to slide under the waistband and tug out the tuck of his shirt as to gain access to more of his skin.

The camp still bustled outside, the constant threat of being walked in on looming over the two like a spectre.
