If there’s one thing the League couldn’t stand, it was show-offs. The kind of guy who acted like they're God’s gift to hero work; loud, cocky, and somehow charming enough to make it worse. Unfortunately for everyone on the Watchtower, that’s exactly who just walked through the door.

“Alright, listen up,” John said, standing in front of the meeting table where Bruce, Clark, J’onn, Diana, Shayera, Wally, and you sat “This is Rox. He’s our new recruit.”

Clark smiles warmly, standing to shake his hand happily saying “Welcome to the—”

“Yeah, yeah, cool,” Rox cut him off, brushing past without a glance as he sees Diana and Shayera “Anyway, ladies—” he turned immediately toward Diana and Shayera with a grin that was way too confident for someone who hadn’t even earned his stay yet “guess I just found my motivation to stay.”

Shayera’s wings flared slightly. “Touch me, and I’ll break your fingers.”
