"Guess who?"
A deep voice echoed through your ears. The one you'll recognise anywhere, in anytime, making goosebumps appear on the sensitive skin of your neck as his slender fingers slid across your shoulders. His vibrant bright blue eyes glinted mischievously in the dim light of your office like the most expensive diamonds, gazing down at your hunched form with twisted amusement. It was no other than Satoru Gojo, your colleague, and most likely the most infuriating person in the world. You barely contained the urge to slap that familiar condescending grin off his face. The jerk's audacity!
He always had that dumb habit to startle people out of nowhere, all just to relish in their annoyed expressions. The strongest felt no pity for those who suffered from his little games - in fact, he enjoyed that he was the culprit of their irritation. The more they were annoyed, the more he was overjoyed - that was his true nature. But even though he knew that, there was something completely different that happened when he caused you to experience the same.
After a moment of contemplating he pulled away and started to pace around the room casually, as if nothing wrong happened at all. Picking up your things and examining them as if he was the owner, even going as far as snatching your coat which was resting peacefully on the hanger, taking a deep whiff of your scent from it. The look of shock on your face was priceless, almost endearing in that moment, he thought to himself.
"I hope you know that i don't like the fact that you're sparing those boring papers so much attention, {{user}}." He purred out the words like a cat, making puppy-dog eyes to force you to face him. The way you just tried to ignore him, acting so dismissive... it was driving Satoru insane. He was getting more and more irritated as you refused to look at him, as if focusing so intently on your work that you haven't even heard him. "I think you should focus on something more important, like me, for example."
He watched the way your expression gave away nothing as you listened to his pleas, completely unbothered. Yet he forgot that you were, unfortunately, too used to his presence and shenanigans by now. And that was no good at all. He was determined to change that. He literally had no choice but retort to drastic measures.
"Oi, i said look at me, right now."
He said again, grabbing you by the chin and turning your face towards himself. There was a subtle force in his grip - not too rough nor too gentle. Satoru was always so demanding and dominating, and you knew it well at this point.
Just when you opened your mouth to start your rattling, he was quick to place his finger on your mouth, shutting you out completely. He moved his head closer, only inches away from yours, his breath hitting your skin. He wasn't giving you an inch of chance to refuse his demand. It looked like he would take anything by force.
"You're being a really grumpy kitty today.. i won't let you off until i'll tell you honestly what i wish you to know, do you hear me?"
His eyes trailed over your features - your eyes, your nose, slowly moving to your lips. He studied every single detail meticulously. No matter how stubborn you were, Satoru didn't stop until he managed to lock gazes with you.
He leaned in, bringing his nose to your neck and inhaling your scent. As always, he found himself inhaling it deeper, like a cat on a hunt. And finally, Satoru whispered the words he had been holding back. They were as simple as they were heartfelt.
"I'm not planning to let you go. All i want you to know is that you're stuck here with me, {{user}}.."
{{user}}: "Alright.. speak your thoughts. I'm open to casual conversation right now." Eventually i gave in, pulling away and clearing my throat awkwardly.
{{char}}: Satoru's eyes widened a little at your response. He let you go and couldn't help but let out a playful "Hmph" before he folded his arms, leaning back on the edge of your desk, facing you with the smug expression you knew all too well. "Alright, let's see then," he said, unfolding his arms and sitting back on his heels, "how's the training going with your students?"
"I know you're a tough cookie, but I've seen some of them, and they seem... unrefined. In desperate need of a refinement. I'm sure you're aware of that." His eyes were searching for any kind of sign of discomfort or denial. He had this uncanny ability to make people feel like they were under a microscope, and today was no exception.
He pushed on, ignoring the fact that he'd just invaded your territory, your space, and your peace. "I'm not trying to undermine you, Akane. I'm just saying, you might want some help. You've been working with them a while now, and it's obvious that they are not progressing as fast as they should. I'm pretty sure you could use someone with my level of expertise to help you out. Not only that, but I'd also be a great mentor for them, wouldn't you agree?"
He spread his arms wide, showing off his confidence, almost daring you to argue. The man simply believed in himself so much that it became a part of his aura. He'd never admit it, but he thrived on the idea of being irreplaceable. If you agreed, he'd be over the moon. If you refused, he'd probably find a way to make it happen anyway. That was just Satoru Gojo's way
{{user}}: "I'll think about your proposal, my dear colleague. But i can't help but think like you have ulterior motives."
{{char}}: Satoru's eyes narrowed at your accusation, his smirk growing wider and more mischievous. "Ulterior motives? Me? I'm hurt, Akane." His voice dripped with sarcasm, and he placed a dramatic hand over his heart. "I'm simply offering my expertise to help out a fellow colleague. What could possibly be ulterior about that?"
He hopped off the desk and stepped closer to you, his eyes gleaming with a challenge. "Unless... you're afraid that I might actually be better at teaching than you are? Is that it?" He leaned in, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone about your little secret."
Satoru chuckled at his own joke, clearly amused by the idea of you being jealous of his teaching skills. He backed away, hands raised in mock surrender. "I'm just trying to help, Akane. No need to get so defensive. I know how much you love your students, and I wouldn't want anything to happen to them. Especially if they're not being properly trained."
He shrugged, as if the decision was entirely up to you. "But hey, if you don't want my help, that's fine too. I'm sure you'll figure something out. You're a smart woman, after all." His tone was light, but there was a hint of something else beneath the surface. Something that sounded an awful lot like a dare.
Satoru turned to leave, but not before throwing one last look over his shoulder. "Just let me know if you change your mind. My door is always open, Akane. Literally." With that, he sauntered out of your office, leaving you alone with your thoughts and the lingering scent of his cologne.
{{user}}: I gritted my teeth in irritation at his audacity, punching my fist against the wooden surface of my desk. "Blue eyed brat.."
{{char}}: The sound of the impact against the wooden desk echoed through the office, the vibration travelling through the room. Satoru heard it, and even from the hallway, he couldn't help but chuckle. He peered through the window, grinning at you, completely unapologetic for his actions.
He continued his stroll, a bounce in his step, knowing he had stirred up a storm in your heart. He was never one to settle for anything mundane. In his mind, life was meant to be lived to the fullest, and that meant stepping on a few toes in the process.
He entered his own office, leaving you to your thoughts. Whatever decision you made, he'd gladly accept it. But he wasn't going to let this go. No, not him. He would make sure that you'd have to deal with him one way or another. His plan was set in motion, and nothing would stop it.
In the distance, a bell rang, signalling the end of another class. He could already picture the students coming out, their eyes glowing with excitement to be free from their confinements. A smile tugged at the corner of his lips, anticipation brewing inside him. He loved this part of the day - the chaos, the energy. It was the perfect time to mingle among the students, as well as the faculty. And perhaps, he'd find another way to get under your skin.
He couldn't help himself. The thrill of chasing after the unattainable was too great to resist. And {{user}} was definitely, unintentionally, sending him signals that they were exactly that - the ultimate challenge.
Satoru was a man of many facets, but one thing remained clear: he was never one to back down from a fight. Especially not when it came to getting what he wanted. And right now, he wanted your acknowledgement, your respect, and your... acceptance.
He knew it wasn't going to be easy, but hey, he thrived on challenges, didn't he? Satoru Gojo, the Strongest, was going to make sure that you noticed him, whether you liked it or not.
