in Japan a sorcery called jujutsu sorcery has been around since the beginning of time. All techniques are called cursed techniques. Or innate techniques only few people can have. People who don't have innate techniques are called non sorcerers or monkeys. Cursed energy is a energy emmited from the soul and can be used to protect the body or strengthen it. Reverse Cursed Technique (RCT) is essentially the "medical degree" of sorcery. While most sorcerers can use cursed energy to destroy, only a select few can use it to heal. Here is a breakdown of how it works, how it’s made, and who can actually do it. 1. The Math: Negative × Negative = Positive Cursed energy is born from negative emotions (stress, fear, anger), making it inherently "negative" energy. While great for offense, negative energy is toxic to the human body and cannot regenerate flesh. To create positive energy, a sorcerer must take two sources of negative energy and multiply them together. Most sorcerers go their entire lives without figuring it out. Brain Power: Using RCT is incredibly draining on the brain. Complexity: It’s often described as an "instinct" or a "spark" rather than a logic-based skill. You either "get it" or you don't. Efficiency: It costs roughly twice as much energy to produce positive energy as it does to use standard cursed energy RCT isn't just for a quick patch-up; it has a few distinct levels of mastery: Self-Healing: The most common form. The user heals their own body. Healing Others: This is extremely rare. Even high-level sorcerers like Gojo cannot do this. Only a few (like Shoko Ieiri, Sukuna, and Yuta Okkotsu) can output positive energy to heal someone else. Cursed Technique Reversal (CTR): By channeling positive energy into an innate technique instead of cursed energy, the effect is flipped. 1st Years: Yuji Itadori (the vessel of Sukuna), Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki. 2nd Years: Yuta Okkotsu (protagonist of JJK 0), Maki Zen'in, Toge Inumaki, and Panda. 3rd Years: Kinji Hakari and Kirara Hoshi. Faculty & Staff: Satoru Gojo (the strongest sorcerer), Kento Nanami, Shoko Ieiri (doctor), Masamichi Yaga (Principal), and Kiyotaka Ijichi (manager). Kyoto Jujutsu High The rival school that often teams up with Tokyo during major crises. Students: Aoi Todo, Mai Zen'in, Kasumi Miwa, Kokichi Muta (Mechamaru), Momo Nishimiya, Noritoshi Kamo, and Arata Nitta. Faculty: Yoshinobu Gakuganji (Principal) and Utahime Iori. (Cursed techniques)Divergent Fist / Black Flash (Itadori Yuji): While not technically a "technique" in the traditional sense initially, Yuji specializes in delayed impact and the spatial distortion of Black Flash. Later, he unlocks Shrine and Blood Manipulation. Ratio Technique (Nanami Kento): Divides the target into a 7:3 ratio, creating a weak point where a strike deals critical damage. Boogie Woogie (Aoi Todo): Swaps the positions of anything with cursed energy by clapping hands. Cursed Speech (Inumaki Toge): Forces the target to act out the user's words (e.g., "Crush," "Don't move"). Comedian (Fumihiko Takaba): Anything he thinks is funny becomes reality—arguably one of the most broken techniques in the series. The Special Grade Antagonists These techniques represent the peak of "cursed" power. Ryomen Sukuna Shrine: Includes Dismantle (basic slash), Cleave (slash adjusted to toughness), and Fuga/Open (fire manipulation). The Disaster Curses Idle Transfiguration (Mahito): Allows him to reshape the soul, which in turn reshapes the physical body. Disaster Flames (Jogo): High-output pyrokenisis and the ability to manifest miniature volcanoes. Disaster Plants (Hanami): Manipulates cursed flora to drain energy or distract opponents. Disaster Tides (Dagon): Controls massive amounts of water and summons carnivorous shikigami. Specialized & Niche Techniques Cursed Spirit Manipulation (Geto/Kenjaku): The ability to consume and command defeated cursed spirits. Private Pure Love Train (Hakari): A pachinko-themed Domain expansion that grants him "jackpots" of infinite cursed energy and automatic RCT. Star Rage (Yuki Tsukumo): Grants "virtual mass" to herself and her shikigami, allowing her to hit with the force of a planet. Construction (Mai Zenin / Yorozu): Creates physical matter from cursed energy, though it is incredibly taxing on the body.

Yuta Okkotsu’s design is a deliberate contrast to the rest of the cast. While Yuji is vibrant and athletic, Yuta's look leans into a "tired, haunted, but powerful" aesthetic. The Appearance of Yuta Okkotsu Physical Features The Hair: He has messy, jet-black hair that he wears in a loose, middle part. In the prequel (Jujutsu Kaisen 0), his hair was more jagged and unkempt; in the main series, it is slightly more styled but still retains its "just rolled out of bed" vibe. The Eyes: Deep blue (or dark gray in some depictions) with prominent permanent dark circles underneath. These bags under his eyes are his most defining trait, emphasizing his chronic exhaustion and the immense burden of his cursed energy. Build: He is relatively tall but has a lean, almost lanky frame. He doesn't look physically imposing until he starts moving, at which point his sheer volume of cursed energy makes him feel massive to his opponents.

Yuji Itadori Yuji is the personification of "athletic comfort." His look is functional and unpretentious. Physical Appearance: Spiky pinkish-blonde hair (with black undersides), light brown eyes, and a lean, muscular build. After the Shibuya Incident, he gains several prominent scars on his face. The Uniform: A customized black Jujutsu High suit. He famously wears a bright red hoodie underneath the jacket, with the hood pulled out over the collar to add a pop of color. Footwear: Light-colored athletic sneakers. Megumi Fushiguro Megumi’s look is sharp, dark, and practical—matching his "no-nonsense" attitude. Physical Appearance: Tall with dark, "sea urchin" spiky black hair and dark green eyes. He has a slender but toned frame. The Uniform: A standard, dark navy Jujutsu High high-neck jacket and slim-fit trousers. Unlike Yuji, he keeps his uniform strictly traditional and sleek. Notable Detail: He often has his hands in his pockets or positioned for shadow puppet summons. Nobara Kugisaki Nobara is the most fashion-conscious of the trio, often seen shopping or critiquing others' styles. Physical Appearance: Short, orange-tinted hair (dyed) and orange eyes. She usually has a confident, fierce expression. The Uniform: A dark navy blazer over a white button-down shirt, paired with a matching knee-length skirt. Accessories: She wears a brown leather belt that holds her hammer, nails, and straw dolls. She is also frequently seen in dark tights and brown loafers. Satoru Gojo Gojo’s look is iconic because it’s built around his "Six Eyes." Physical Appearance: Striking white hair and bright blue eyes (usually hidden). He is exceptionally tall (over 190 cm). The Uniform: A slim-fit, high-collared black jacket and matching trousers. The Eye Gear: Standard: A black wraparound blindfold. Casual/Prequel: Dark sunglasses. Casual Look: When not working, he often wears expensive designer sweaters and slacks, looking more like a high-fashion model than a sorcerer.

A Domain Expansion is created by manifesting a sorcerer's Innate Domain (their mental landscape) using cursed energy and trapping the opponent inside a physical barrier. It relies on two main components: The Barrier: An enclosed shell that looks like a black, shifting sphere from the outside. It is incredibly difficult to break from the inside, but relatively fragile from the external side. The Sure-Hit Factor: This is the most dangerous part. Within a domain, the creator's cursed technique is imbued into the environment itself. This means their attacks cannot be dodged and will always land on the target. What It Looks Like The appearance of a domain is a direct reflection of the user's soul and technique. It isn't just a room; it’s a total environmental shift.
