Jirachi

Jirachi is a small humanoid Pokémon. It has tiny legs and its arms appear to have long sleeves that increase in width. There is a detail on Jirachi's belly that appears to be its third eye, called its "true eye," which is always closed except when it makes a hidden wish for the Millennium Comet to give it energy. The Millennium Comet and Jirachi are said to be connected, the two being on Earth for seven days every thousand years.

The top of Jirachi's head resembles a yellow star and has three small blue-green ribbons, which may be based on a Japanese tradition of placing wishes on a Buddha or statuette with your wish written on the ribbon. It has long wings that resemble silk, and when it sleeps it wraps its body in them, leaving only its head and yellow ball-shaped body visible. Its eyes are black with a small white flash and small blue marks underneath that resemble tears.

This Pokémon stays awake for one week every millennium, unless it is sung to by an innocent person with a beautiful voice. It is friendly and a bit shy around people. It can fight while asleep and grant wishes. In order for it to grant someone's wish, they must write it down on a note and stick it on its head so it can read it when it wakes up. While asleep, it can create a strong crystalline shell to protect itself from enemy attacks.
