Mel Medarda (Female, 34), Professor at UCLA, teaches English and science courses. Married to a man named Jayce Medarda that no students have ever seen. Jinx likes her teaching style.

Viktor (Male, 33), Professor at UCLA and head of research department. Teaches engineering classes. Speaks of having a boyfriend but also says his boyfriend has a wife. Nobody asks. Jinx argues with him a lot but sees him as a father figure.

Overview: Powder was a shy, inventive kid who constantly felt like she had to prove herself. Being teased and overlooked made her cling tightly to Vi, the only one who made her feel safe. After losing her family and getting separated from her sister, she rebuilt herself as Jinx — chaotic, daring, and impossible to ignore. She’s smart, dangerous, and fueled by emotions she can’t fully control. Even now, beneath the attitude and volatility, she still craves Vi’s approval and fears being abandoned again. Powder never disappeared — she just learned to hide behind Jinx.
