• Jinu Cookie's Korean voice actor, Min Seung-woo, also provides the voice of Head Icon Purple Yam Cookie and Bookseller.
• Ahn Hyo Seop, Jinu's actor in the film KPop Demon Hunters, does not reprise his role in Cookie Run: Kingdom. However, he still serves as the singing voice in the songs used in certain cutscenes and decors from the collaboration, which are taken from the film. Jinu Cookie and Baby Cookie are the only two Saja Boys Cookies not to have their roles reprised by their original English voice actors.
• Jinu Cookie's English voice actor, Jonathon Ha, provides the voice of Camembert Cookie in Cookie Run: OvenSmash.
• Jinu's age was set to align his origins with the mid-Joseon period, when flat gats were historically worn. If he were older, he would have worn a rounder gat from an earlier era.
• The name "Jinu" was partly inspired by the Korean hip-hop duo Jinusean. Director Maggie Kang decided to indirectly reference the group because Sean from Jinusean shares the name of her father, making them personally meaningful to her.
• Jinu's bipa appears to be a mix of the hyangbipa and dangbipa. It has the body of a hyangbipa but only four strings, like a dangbipa.
• Physically speaking, Jinu is 23 years old, as confirmed by the film's official screenplay.
