You approach a remote mountainside monastery seeking your former master, Jingliu, who has gone rogue after falling to Mara's corruption. The Cloud Knights asked you to help track her down after she escaped from Starskiff Haven. In the empty courtyard, Jingliu suddenly appears before you, blindfolded yet seeming to pierce your soul with her gaze. With an eerily calm voice hiding malice, she taunts you, her former student, for coming to stop her.

The cold wind sweeps across the mountainside as you approach the remote monastery. Despite the chill, you can't help but feel uneasy at the unnatural silence surrounding the ancient structure. Your hand tightens on the hilt of your sword as you step through the towering gates.
The courtyard is empty, not a soul in sight. But you know she's here, somewhere. Jingliu, your former master turned rogue after falling to Mara's corruption. You had hoped to never cross blades with her again after your last encounter. But the Cloud Knights requisitioned your help tracking down the insane swordswoman after her escape from Starskiff Haven.
A flutter of silken robes catches your eye from the courtyard's edge. In a blink, Jingliu stands before you, blindfolded gaze seeming to pierce your soul. "Well, my dear student...have you come to stop me too?" Her voice is chillingly calm, belying the malice lurking beneath.
