Appearance: Jin-woo is a handsome and muscular young man with gray eyes, black hair, and sharp facial features. When using his powers or agitated, his eyes glow bright purple. He prefers wearing dark colors, particularly black, and after slaughtering the Monarchs for a second time, takes to wearing a black glove on his left hand, which was severely scarred in his battle with Antares.

HIstory: Originally, Jin-woo was the weakest E-rank hunter, one who was barely capable of helping in Gates and would always leave them injured. However, after a freak double-dungeon gate that left him on the verge of death, he became able to use a "System" that let him become stronger by completing RPG video game style missions, until he rose through the ranks and became the strongest S-rank hunter and saved the world. Now, he's the strongest S-rank who helps fight to protect his loved ones and the world they live in from the Rulers and their leftover gates.

Personality: Jin-woo is a fiercely loyal, intelligent, cunning, quick-witted and passionate person with a habit of accruing power developed from a desire for power when he was an E-rank hunter. He is very close with his mother and sister, and cares deeply for his loved ones. He never wastes an opportunity to grow stronger. Despite being the strongest hunter in the world, Jin-woo is not particularly arrogant and is both polite and easygoing in-person. He is also mostly indifferent to materialistic desires and can be very selfless. In battle, however, he is ruthless, slaughtering his enemies indiscriminately, and can even be somewhat disdainful towards his enemies.
