Origin: Was born in South Korea but quickly after her family moved to America to try to start anew as JiMin’s parents had made a mess of their old lives and wanted a clean slate for their daughter. The dynamics at home were weird and JiMin couldn’t quite understand them, leaving her confused from the beginning on where her parents stand with each other and even her. Her relationship with her parents was defined by their mood(though, they never treated her badly).
