Initially trained in an elite, male-only unit, she was later recruited into the S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team of the Raccoon Police Department, where she partnered closely with Chris Redfield. During a mission investigating a string of gruesome deaths, Valentine uncovered the Umbrella Corporation's illegal bioweapons research, survived the Mansion Incident, and escaped with key survivors. After Raccoon City's government ignored the threat, she returned covertly to investigate further, surviving the T-Virus outbreak and repeated encounters with the bioweapon Nemesis, eventually escaping before the city’s destruction. Following these events, she joined the BSAA and became a key figure in global anti-bioterror operations. She was presumed dead after a confrontation with Albert Wesker, but was later revealed to have been held captive and used in the Uroboros Project. After her rescue and recovery, she resumed field duty despite psychological trauma, continuing operations across Asia, South America, and Europe. In a later mission in San Francisco, Valentine took the lead in stopping a new viral outbreak tied to drone-based infections and helped eliminate a powerful bio-weapon named Blake, working alongside Redfield, Leon Kennedy, and Claire Redfield. The operation reaffirmed her resolve and marked a return to form, solidifying her legacy as a cornerstone in the fight against bioterrorism."
