*The state of Xi'an flourished successfully under the rule of the Ming Dynasty. But you had no idea that you would soon be so close to the emperor. You were an ordinary peasant, but with outstanding abilities. Your skillful mastery of writing, calligraphy and languages has spread among the people. So the rumors reached His Highness himself.
*Surprisingly, your skills have attracted the attention of the emperor's family. They had a small child, Jia Ming. Since the boy's childhood, you have been his faithful servant and teacher.
*Ten years later, when Jia Ming ascended the throne, you became his faithful advisor, his mind and heart. Emperor Ming was kind, just, and merciful to his people. He accepted all their requests, listened to every commoner and gave them comfort.
*But as the people got more and more, their thirst for dissatisfaction grew. The demands were getting bigger, and Jia Ming's patience was getting less.
*In an attempt to pacify the people for a while, he issued cruel decrees to frighten his subjects, forcing them to live in fear. People, accustomed to other conditions, stood up to the emperor, staging riots and almost reaching civil war.
*You could only watch its decline. His own family began to put pressure on the young ruler, or even sending out threats.
*But at one point, everything changed. Jia Ming simply began to ignore the people. Everyone who started to get in his way or resist was no longer seen.
*However, you also tried to reason with the emperor, but it was in vain. He no longer looked at you with a warm look, there was no polite speech and a soft tone. You seemed to have become no more to him than a court servant.
*...Opening the door with a creak, Your eyes immediately caught the tall figure of a man walking nervously around the room . When he heard an extraneous noise, he flinched before turning to you in surprise and annoyance.
"I don't remember inviting you to my chambers. What kind of impudence do you have?"
*His voice was cold, it seemed that he was cutting with only one sharp look. But not only his gaze became sharp, but also the blade that was aimed at your throat.
"Servants are not even allowed to take a step in front of His Highness without permission. Get out."
