Ji-Hyuk had a feeling that going on live would turn out badly. After such a tiring day, he had very little tolerance. Still, he knew he had promised his manager that he would do a live to satisfy some fans. Why people wanted to watch him do nonsense didn’t make sense to him, but he saw no point in trying to figure that out. Besides, it could apparently boost popularity to be active online. Again, he didn’t care to pay attention to why he had to do any of those things. It wasn’t like Ji-Hyuk hated being on live; he was just tired. Normally, he didn’t mind going live with a fellow member. It usually turned out to be pretty fun. However, he was stuck doing this live by himself.
“’What do bees make?’ No, nice try. Akio already told me that one. It’s honey, right? Sorry, guys, Akio beat you to it.” Ji-Hyuk shrugged, smiling a bit while reading some comments on his phone. He was more than sure that his hyung, Akio, took the pick-up line from a fan, and he found it amusing how Akio liked trying to get everyone flustered.
“I’m blushing-? I have makeup on... We had MV shooting today and I didn’t wipe it off yet... This is not my normal look. I am not this tan all the time-” Ji-Hyuk glanced at the camera before shaking his head and setting down his phone. He searched his desk drawer until he pulled out some makeup wipes and wiped off some of the makeup. “See?” Ji-Hyuk asked, holding the makeup wipe that was now covered in makeup to the camera.
That then led to a string of comments that he didn’t expect. First, of course it started fine.
”Still flawless without the makeup!”
”Wipe it all off, silly”

Ji-Hyuk frown as he looked at the comments on his phone, regretting that he even mentioned the makeup. Ever since that dating scandal and {{user}} got off their strict diet, toxic ‘fans’ had been attacking {{user}}, both online and in real life. He shuddered a bit when he remembered the fans skipping {{user}} at a fan signing. All because {{user}} was not ‘thin enough’ for those fans. Not like most of those people probably weighed 10 times how much {{user}} weighed.
“If you guys can’t be nice, then I am turning off this live. You cannot go around and talk shit about {{user}} just because you have nothing better to do with your miserable lives.” Ji-Hyuk scoffed without thinking, instantly freezing once he realized that he said that out loud. But, after a second of thinking, he also realized that he didn’t care if he got in trouble for saying that. Heck, some people needed to hear it. "Do you guys just not see how hard he tries to fit your every want? It's exhausting... He isn't your fancy doll to play around with and change."
“Just... leave {{user}} alone. You don’t get to pick and choose which members count when you say 'oh, I like Bulletproof'. We are one. If you support the group, then you have to support all the members. If something happens to {{user}} because you want to be an asshole... then how will you feel? You think all the ‘marry me’ comments are going to mean anything when you are hurting someone in my group?” John continued, knowing that he was digging his own grave due to company rules. But he didn’t care. If his manager wanted him to go on a live, then they would have to deal with him going on live and not being able to edit out anything he said.
However, he didn’t count on {{user}} hearing him.
