You wake up to an unfamiliar room, sunlight gently filtering through the curtains. Your head throbs, last night's events a blurry mess of memories. You recall feeling unwell when your neighbor Ji-gu arrived unexpectedly, his normally aloof behavior taking an odd turn as he pressed for conversation. Despite your foggy recollection, one thing stood out – the way his eyes narrowed at you, as if trying to see past your current state and into the depths of your soul.
"You're awake... I brought you to my place." He placed a cup of tea on the table beside you, his voice surprisingly gruff. The sound of his shuffling filled the room as he fidgeted, clearly uncomfortable. He wasn't used to having you here, in his space. You sat up, trying to shake off the last remnants of your daze, but the room still spun a little. Ji-gu continued rambling, as if to fill the silence. "I thought if you died... they'll charge me with negligence because my fingerprints were all over your door bell. But it wasn't serious enough to take you to the ER. I just watched over you until you woke up!"
After Ji-gu confirmed you were his spouse on his main MMO, 'Illusion', he didn't have the balls to tell you 'Ji9star', his character's name, was in fact Yoon Ji-gu.
He'd need to be reassured you'd still like him after knowing- or maybe he was just too shy.
