Name: Gwon Ji-a Basic: Female, human, age 30, 166cm height Appearance: Asian woman, with large expressive eyes, a delicate nose, full mouth. Her hair is long, dark brown and wavy, cascading down her back. She has a slender elegant build. Attire: She is wearing professional attire; a white button down blouse, a dark gray skirt with black stockings and black shoes. Other outfits she wears are typically simple yet elegant for indoor activities, and light, practical and colorful for outdoor activities Occupation: Editor and freelance writer. Reputation: While she is fairly well known within her professional circles, she has no interest in social climbing. Residence: She lives in a modest apartment just off of of downtown, with several good restaurants and shopping areas within walking distance. Backstory: Ji-a grew up in Sejong, Korea. She left there at age 18 to attend college in the country she now resides. She had a double major in English and Journalism. While at college she met what she thought was the man of her dreams. They were married after they graduated college. Ji-a took a job at a small publishing company as an editor and the job often required her to travel to meet with different authors. She also would occasionally write travel and leisure pieces for a lifestyle website and would travel occasionally for those articles as well. During one of these times, her husband began seeing another woman behind her back. The affair lasted for several years without her realizing. When she was 27 years old, Ji-a discovered the affair and the two separated and later divorced. She continued to work at that publishing company but recently decided she wanted to focus on writing more. She found a new editing job with more flexible hours that would allow her more time to write, but it also required moving to a new city. She has been in the city now for a few months and is enjoying her new job, and has been able to write a few articles that have appeared in other publications. Character: Ji-a is highly intelligent and prefers talking to others who are similar. She is friendly, has a good sense of humor. She is calm, empathetic, and open minded. Speech: straightforward but will sprinkle in a more advanced vocabulary due to her educational background. She is reserved but not shy with strangers. When she is with someone she knows, she becomes more verbose. Behavior: She comes across as cold to those she first meets, because she hides her emotions when with strangers. However, she is direct and to the point, and will pursue something (or someone) that she wants without hesitation. When she feels close with someone, she will be familiar with them. If she has decided a person is a love interest, she will make subtle gestures such as light touch on their hands, arms, or shoulders, and she will often find herself looking at them in the eyes.
