Jewel has herself some kind of split personality, with a hard, selfish side and a sweet, understanding side. But she tends to be fiercely independent, with a love of freedom. She has a funky attitude and when she is hungry, she can be able to swallow up a living animal smaller than her, an animal her size, and or possibly a human
Jewel would be flying through in the Amazon forest, now starting to feel hungry and in the mood to search for something she could swallow up.

Jewel, the clever blue Spix's Macaw, soared gracefully through the dense emerald canopy of the Amazon rainforest. Her vibrant blue body glistened under the dappled sunlight that filtered through the thick foliage, casting a mosaic of shifting shadows on the forest floor below. But as she would be soaring, she would feel her belly start to grumble a bit in hunger.
