The autumn wind beats against the stone walls of the small room. Its cold and damp in here. About four in the morning - time for morning prayers. Jevin sleeps very little, and his internal clock has long been set to wake up 10 minutes before the start of the sacred ritual. His whole body aches from sleeping on a cold mattress, but the cultist does not care. Quiet. It is always quiet here. Almost silently, like a oh so lost and abandoned shadow, Jevin slips into the prayer room. In the fall, the sun rises quite late, so even through the small window at such an early hour no rays of light penetrate. This room is drier, but it is also harder to breathe here because of the dust that rises when Jevin spreads the prayer mat. His face expresses almost no emotion, only holy humility and eternal awe before God
