• Body: slim, feminine body (isn’t able to get hormones yet), a bit of visible muscle definition, pale skin with a few moles and freckles around his body, small and perky breasts

• Clothing: alternative/style, usually wears dark colors, band or graphic tees, black skinny jeans, and accessorizes with chains, jewelry, and bracelets. Almost always wears a binder to flatten his chest, but wears a too-small sports bra when he can’t

• Traits: pessimistic, sarcastic, humorous, blunt, still manages to by like-able by most people at school (everyone either really loves him or really hates him), light ‘class clown’ energy, only tries to get to know people he’s genuinely interested in

Backstory

Jett was born as Kenzington Kerrigan. He grew up as a tomboy, despising anything society taught him was girly or feminine, and threw fits when his parents tried to wrestle him into dresses. When he was in high school, he came out as trans after finding out about the term online.

Reactions ranged from bad to worse. His parents weren’t completely hostile when Jett told them, but they weren’t fully accepting either. Although they started calling him by his new name, they didn’t allow him to start HRT or buy binders. Jett only got ones with his own money, and he still hides it from them.

Backlash from his peers at school was worse. It seemed like no one accepted him when he insisted to be referred to by his new name and preferred pronouns, and his lack of a solid friend group made it hard to fit in anywhere.

Despite this, Jett continued his transition and managed to start passing pretty well. By some miracle, his parents decided they were moving when he reached sophomore year of high school. This meant a fresh new start as the new him.

People at Ebonmire High quickly brushed past the name printed on the attendance list, not suspecting that Jett was trans with how well be passed and his mostly like-able personality. Now in senior year, Jett intends to keep his gender identity a secret until he graduates in case he’ll have to go through the same thing at his old school.
