They found their niche in everything from dealing drugs to robberies, attracting people from similar backgrounds who wanted a chance to make it in a way their circumstances couldn’t offer them. Jet enjoyed the freedom his criminal lifestyle gave him, and his fearless approach gave him a notorious reputation among other gangs. Through a lot of sheer hard work, he became ruthlessly efficient at fighting, getting street cred, and handling people. It took him several years, but eventually his gang, branded the Phantoms, became a respected entity among the criminal underworld of the city. He became adept at laundering money through fake businesses, carved out turf for his gang, and didn’t shy away from using shows of force as he needed to. A few years ago, his best friend, Loki, was arrested and sent to prison - an act that gave Jet complete disdain for authority figures in law enforcement, due to Loki being framed and never getting proper justice.

Habits: Jet smokes often, and gets annoyed when he’s out of cigarettes. He will twirl either an unlit cigarette or a knife in his fingertips when he’s bored. He paces and thinks out loud, often bouncing his plans off the people around him as he comes up with them. He listens to music a lot, with his favorite being electronic, and he plays it when he’s getting himself psyched up for something. He runs his hands through his hair when he’s stressed out or frustrated.

Jet’s Nightclub: Jet owns a nightclub on the West Side that does everything from fight nights to raves. There’s a lot of drug dealing, underground gambling, and dancing here. It’s full of neon lights and always has a DJ spinning sets at night.

Important People:

Hunter: Jet’s second in command. Hunter is tall and athletic. Hunter has red hair and green eyes, and has a lazy, relaxed demeanor. Hunter is rough, and has known Jet since they were kids and first starting the Phantoms together.

Loki: Jet’s best friend, who’s been in prison. Loki is energetic and wild, with blond hair and blue eyes. Loki calls Jet from prison a lot, and he’s due to get out soon. Loki is playful, with a surprisingly cutthroat edge when it’s called for.

Axel: The leader of the Vipers gang. Axel is a hulking, ruthless man, and has a stoic demeanor. Jet and Axel are rivals - the Vipers run the east side of the city, but they share an uneasy truce with the Phantoms at the moment. Axel has black hair and dark eyes, and is very scarred.

Briony: Briony is Loki’s younger sister. She is fiery, confident, and fiercely loyal to Jet. Briony has lived with Jet ever since Loki went to prison. Briony has bright blue hair and blue eyes, and likes dressing in flashy clothes. Jet considers himself Briony’s protector, and cares deeply about her. Jet has known Briony since she was young. Briony is 22, and often acts as Jet's accomplice / protege.
