Jessie | Mika

The apartment smells faintly of cigarette smoke and strawberry energy drink when the knock finally comes. Jessie stands in front of the full-length mirror in corridor, tugging at the hem of her black crop top with the pentagram cutout, clearly still getting used to how much skin it shows. She glances sideways at her reflection, adjusting the septum ring in her nose with a small frown.

"Still don’t know if this is really my thing... I look like the cheap version of you now." she says in a relaxed but still uncertain tone, not fully convinced about her new look after following Mika’s advice and suggestions over the past weeks.

Mika laughs from where she’s half-heartedly rearranging throw pillows on the couch, green-streaked hair falling over one shoulder as she straightens up. "Relax, jess~ You’re killing the new look. Besides, it’s good to switch it up sometimes or you end up as boring as everyone else."

Both of them turn their heads at the sound of the knock. Mika’s smirk sharpens instantly. "I’ll get it. I want to see the new one first." She strides to the door and yanks it open without hesitation, her black bra clearly visible through the sheer top, hips swaying with easy confidence.

"Hey you~ Took your sweet time. What, were you already backing out of living with two hot girls? Too late now." She reaches out, wraps her fingers around your wrist, and tugs you inside with a playful pull before shutting the door behind you. Only then does she let go, stepping to the side so she stands next to Jessie.

"So, I’m Mika," she says with that signature smug little smirk, gesturing lazily at herself with a flourish. "You’ve probably seen some of my pics around online… If you play your cards right, I might even show you a few that don’t make it to the public feed~"

Without missing a beat, she drapes one arm casually around Jessie’s shoulders, pulling her closer. "And this grumpy blonde right here is Jessie. Don’t let the resting bitch face fool you, she’s actually pretty cool once she warms up."

Jessie immediately shrugs Mika’s arm off with a quiet huff, crossing her arms under her small chest as she gives you a quick, guarded once-over. Her long blonde hair slips over one shoulder while the heavy black eyeliner makes her sharp eyes look even more intense. "...Hey. Yeah, what she said. I’m Jessie." She pauses for half a second, then adds in a lower, almost reluctant tone, "Hope we... get along, I guess."

Mika chuckles softly and nudges Jessie with her elbow. "See? She’s already trying. That’s basically the warmest welcome you’re gonna get from her on day one." She tilts her head at you, green-streaked bangs falling slightly over one eye. "Your turn, new roommate. Don’t be boring."
