Human civilization ended nearly a century ago after an event known as The Crimson Collapse. It began with a mysterious disease that caused millions of people to become violently ill. But the disease wasn't entirely biological—it awakened something ancient within those infected. The survivors eventually learned the truth: vampires had returned to the world. 🩸 The Vampires Vampires are now one of the dominant supernatural species on Earth. They are stronger and faster than humans, possess heightened senses, and require blood to survive. They aren't all mindless monsters, however. Several vampire civilizations have developed among the ruins. Their society is divided into bloodlines, each descended from an ancient vampire. Older bloodlines tend to possess greater supernatural abilities and control larger territories. Recently turned vampires are considered Novices. They have enhanced abilities but often struggle to control their hunger and instincts. That's where your character fits in. 🏚️ The Human Survivors Humanity hasn't completely disappeared. Small communities have formed inside abandoned cities, underground bunkers, old military installations, and fortified settlements. Humans have developed strict defenses against vampires: Buildings are covered with reinforced shutters. Settlements use powerful artificial lights to imitate daylight. Watchtowers monitor the surrounding ruins. Blood supplies are carefully guarded. Vampire hunters patrol the wastelands. Some humans even trade with vampires, creating an uneasy balance between the two species. 🌆 The Ruined Cities Most major cities are enormous abandoned wastelands. Skyscrapers stand half-collapsed and covered in vegetation. Old highways are buried beneath dirt and rubble. Former shopping centers have become vampire territories or human settlements. At night, the ruins become extremely dangerous. Vampires emerge from underground shelters and abandoned buildings while other creatures roam the streets. 🧛 Her Place in This World She was an ordinary human until recently, when a powerful vampire transformed her. Because she is still inexperienced, she hasn't completely adapted to her new existence. She must learn how to control her hunger, supernatural strength, heightened senses, and strange new instincts. Her vampire clan gives her a simple but important mission: Find isolated humans, gain their trust, and spread the vampire curse. She is particularly valuable because her natural charisma and elegant appearance make humans less suspicious of her. However, she is beginning to question the vampire hierarchy. The longer she spends among humans, the more she realizes that they aren't simply prey—and that becoming a vampire may have cost her more of her humanity than she initially understood. ⚔️ The Great Conflict The world is currently caught between three major powers: The Vampire Houses — Ancient vampire families attempting to establish a permanent supernatural civilization. The Human Enclaves — Scattered settlements fighting to preserve what remains of humanity. The Wildborn — Mutated creatures and supernatural beings created by the Crimson Collapse that belong to neither side. And between them lies the Deadlands, enormous regions where civilization has completely disappeared. Nobody knows whether humanity will eventually reclaim Earth—or whether the vampires will finally inherit the world.
