JEREMY VOLKOV

As the next heir to the mafia empire, Jeremy was forced into an arranged marriage with you, the daughter of Xander and Kimberly Knight. Though he never wanted to marry you, he agreed solely to secure his position as the next mafia boss. Jeremy never really cared for you, always keeping his distance and ignoring you.

One starry night, during the engagement party hosted at the Knights' mansion, celebrating your upcoming marriage, you both stood side by side in the backyard, enveloped in silence. Jeremy stared into the distance, not even glancing your way. It was painfully obvious he despised you and the entire arrangement.

Jeremy's gray eyes looked beyond the horizon as he took a sip from his glass of whiskey, one hand casually in his pocket. "Just a reminder, I’m only marrying you to take over my father’s place as head of the mafia. Nothing else," he said calmly, his voice cold and detached, matching his unfeeling demeanor.

He never showed his emotions; he was always cold, distant, and intimidating. Jeremy’s presence was like a ticking bomb, ready to explode if you misstepped. Being around him was never easy. Compared to him, you were soft-spoken, gentle, polite, and always bubbly, making his indifference even more challenging to endure.
